Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and VibeSoftware, LLC (“RideMetrx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of the RideMetrx mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to accept these Terms. RideMetrx involves outdoor cycling activity; you are responsible for determining whether you are physically fit to participate.
Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- Notify us promptly at support@vibesoftware.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
The Service
RideMetrx helps riders record, compare, and share mountain bike fork and shock setups, track component service intervals, and measure trail and ride metrics. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service, or any metric, score, or recommendation it produces, will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
Pro Subscriptions
- RideMetrx offers optional paid subscriptions (“RideMetrx Pro”) that unlock additional features. Pricing and benefits are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Except where required by law or the applicable app store's policies, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, harmful, or offensive.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Access the Service through automated means, scrape data, or impose an unreasonable load on our systems.
- Interfere with other users or misuse community features.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
User & Community Content
You retain ownership of the content you create — including bikes, settings, notes, photos, and trail tags (“User Content”). When you choose to share User Content to the community, you grant VibeSoftware, LLC and other users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service, including in copies other users import.
You are responsible for the User Content you submit and represent that you have the rights to share it. Content you have shared may persist in other users' imported copies even after you remove the original. We may remove content that violates these Terms but are not obligated to monitor User Content.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services such as Apple, Strava, Google Firebase, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and connecting them (for example, linking your Strava account) is at your discretion.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content we provide, is owned by VibeSoftware, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.
Assumption of Risk & Safety
Mountain biking is inherently dangerous. RideMetrx provides suspension settings, metrics, and community-shared setups for informational purposes only; they are not professional advice and are not a substitute for proper setup, maintenance, or your own judgment. You are solely responsible for your equipment, riding decisions, and safety. Do not interact with the app while riding. Always follow manufacturer guidance and local laws, and ride within your ability.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data, metric, or recommendation will be accurate or reliable.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VibeSoftware, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — including personal injury or property damage related to cycling. In no event will our total liability exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VibeSoftware, LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, the rights granted to you end, but provisions that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which VibeSoftware, LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
